A six-day Sports and Evangelism organised by the Wokha Town Baptist Church (WTBC) Youth Ministry got underway at the Wokha local ground on Monday, April 22, 2019. According to an update from the DIPR received here on Monday, the youths will get opportunity to participate in different discipline during the six-day event.
Deputy Programme Officer (DPO), DRDA Wokha, Nchumthung Ngullie while exhorting the youths on the opening ceremony, said through sports we learn the importance of team spirit not only that but it inculcate discipline in one’s life and urged all participants to have positive attitude because it gives you determination in achieving targeted goals in life.
Oath taking and declaration of sports was done by Zubenthung Humtsoe, secretary games and sports.
The sports event will culminate on April 27, 2019.
