Three-day long interdenominational youth revival organized by Wokha Town Pastors’ Fellowship (WTPF) on a theme “Remember your creator” (Ecclesiastes 12:1) culminated on March 8 at Wokha Town Baptist Church.
A press release from the organisers stated that, Rev. Vikuo Rhi youth secretary NBCC, Kohima, the speaker at the culmination programme shared on how to renew oneself and make way out from sin.
He called upon the congregation to give up and do away with one’s sins’ from the beginning and become a better and a new creation through Christ.
He shared on youths of today’s generation being blinded and committing sin through broken relationship with family, friends, addiction to gambling, drugs and alcohol, addict to social media areas, abortions, sexual relationship, prostitutions, homosexual involving immoral activity, rap, murders, kidnapping, satanic worship and living relationships which were very common to the present youths, where he called the congregation to restraint from involving and committing crime and sin.
Speakers were Rev. Vikuo Rhi youth secretary NBCC, Kohima and evangelist Chenithung Shitiri, director All Christian Fellowship Dimapur. Zuthunglo Patton DFO, Wokha and Dr. Zubon Humtsoe, M/s Panacea Nursing Home Wokha were the resource persons during the revival event.
Keshwega Seb pastor, RBC invoked blessings at the culmination programme, scripture reading was by Kuthotso pastor, TBC and Rev. Khonbemo P. Kikon, chairman WTPF led the programme. Thousands of youths from different churches and denomination came together to worship at the crusade which started on March 6.
